Forget Trump. Let’s Get Back to Work

Will Donald Trump be indicted? Will the ex-President be held accountable for the people he’s hurt and his erosion of our democracy? I haven’t got a clue. But what strikes me is just how unqualified Donald Trump is for the office of the Presidency.

In addition to the bungling of the Pandemic, his habitual lying, and being Putin’s lapdog, we now know, thanks to the Jan 6, Committee:

- Trump spent his final six months in office undermining the transfer of power to the next President. Instead, he focused on ‘the Big Lie.’

- Trump threatened hardworking American citizens with violence and lies, directly and indirectly. How is that presidential?

- The caliber of advisors he surrounded himself with during his last year in office was shockingly inept.

- Ex-President Trump either deliberately lied about election fraud, or didn’t grasp he lost the 2020 election, despite his hand-picked advisors informing him of the loss. Either way, this is a man whose mind and demeanor cannot manage the United States of America.

Anyone who still believes Donald Trump should be President is either entirely brainwashed by the Cult of Trump or so influenced by media-generated disinformation that they would sacrifice the entire concept of America to own or kill a lib. (Yes, apparently, killing is an option now.)

Guns aren’t the answer. Love is the answer. Please wake up, roll up your sleeves, and help make America stronger. There is much to do. We’re stronger together. Let’s get back to work.
